From the creators of JiGGIG Irish Dance and Camp Rince Ceol, the world's largest Irish dance camp with 27 years of delivering nationally recognized summer programing, comes Next Step. A week-long performance training program for aspiring professional Irish dancers, led by world-class choreographers and performers with decades of professional touring experience. Next Step culminates in an exciting, fully produced theatrical show at the stunning EMPAC Theater, where dancers can showcase the skills they have developed throughout the week. Through hands-on learning and collaboration, dancers will experience the thrill, discipline, and teamwork required at the professional level, all within a supportive and fun environment.

Dancers must be 15+ by July 15 to apply.
Our team brings extensive professional experience from performing and touring at the highest level. As instructors and mentors, they will work closely with each dancer to develop performance ability while sharing practical insight into professionalism, tour life, and the challenges of the industry.

By attending Next Step, dancers have the opportunity to be identified and considered by our affiliate partner network. All partner companies are actively performing productions that consistently seek emerging talent.Through an opt-in process, interested dancers are evaluated by the Next Step staff and may be spotlighted to partner companies based on their performance throughout the week. With access to both the filmed final performance and these evaluations, affiliate companies can determine if they wish to reach out to dancers regarding future casting opportunities.
Our affiliate network does not guarantee employment. However, Next Step provides a platform for dancers to be recognized for their performance potential, adaptability, and work ethic that can not always be identified through competitive success alone.
